Die Macht des Versuchs ohne Bezug zur Wirklichkeit bestimmt seine Epoche am Ende des zwanzigsten Jahrhunderts. Medizinische Eingriffe durch Computer, Kriege am Rechner, digitale Erfassung des Menschen sowie die globale Vernetzung sind nur ein Bruchteil dieser Errungenschaften. Nicht alles davon ist schlecht, aber einiges dient dem Bösen…" Rother zog sich 1999 zurück, beobachtete und reflektierte...und so entstand das Album, „Simulationszeitalter“. Sehr sensibel wurde beobachtet.
