We released N-Port and X-Port simultaneously in 2015, 21 years after our first dual album release, the Point 3 Fire and Water albums. With the addition of physical CDs now available here on Bandcamp we've now released a combined version of N-Port and X-Port, as we have also just done with our Fire and Water albums, at a discounted price, both digital and on CD. N-Port (tracks 1-9) is by Mirror System - our more chilled & downtempo project - and includes collaborations with Alex Paterson (track 1), Jam El Mar (tracks 5 & 9), and our Mirror System remix of Perfect Stranger's 'Free Cloud'. X-Port (tracks 10-20) is by System 7 - our more dance floor orientated project - and includes collaborations with Alex Paterson (tracks 13 & 17), Rovo (track 14), James Monro (track 15), and our System 7 remix of Rovo's 'Batis'. All 20 tracks on N-Port and X-Port are imbued with the rich spatial sound and cutting edge production of Steve Hillage and Miquette Giraudy, ranging through a spectrum of colours and tempos starting with the more chilled Mirror System tracks and building to the powerful dance floor beats of System 7.
