I recorded this album at home in 2015 to sell on a pair of European tours where I traveled with my electric Gibson ES-369, my Supro amp and the desire to shift my solo shows from acoustic folksinger to loud, electric sonic muckraker. It gave me a chance to turn songs from my back catalog inside out, reducing them to solo exercises and then kicking them back out as one man electrical band workouts. I printed 1000 copies and they sold out quickly. I pressed 500 more last year and still have a few in stock. This is a chance to download a copy or buy one of the few remaining physical gatefold versions. As you can see, I left the inside right panel blank as "Instant Alternate Cover." At the Merch booth after the shows and armed with a handful of color Sharpies I created unique and personalized artwork for everyone who bought a copy. I'll do the same for these mail-order sales--unique, signed and dedicated artwork for each copy sold. Along with "solo! acoustic (vol. 1)" this is a good indication of what I do out there on my solo tours and a placeholder until I can get out there and do it again.
