Written and Recorded July - December 2016 90% of sales will go to an animal sanctuary, revolving to a different one each month. Released by Caligari Records on CD and Cassette format May 31, 2018. Basis of Sallow Moth and the Deathspore release: CHAPTER I: Deathspore The Mothlords are celestial creatures with humanoid features and the physiology of a moth, commonly known as Mothfolk. They traverse planets and different realms to maintain nature and vegetation on worlds that support life, or even generating sentient life on planets from just simple organic matter, such as soil. While generally graceful and passive beings they are, there is a vigilance in their life's code, and will deliberate means of biological transmogrification on beings (especially humans) who oppose them. Through this arcane magic, they delicately enforce nature development and order by morphing beings into various forms of organisms, who then follow the Mothfolk code. Such creations may come in the form of fungal-human hybrids, tree-human hybrids, green ooze, insects, and creations that are unrecognizable to the common eye, yet some amalgamation of flesh and flora. While invasive of a tactic, the Mothlords do not resort to death by any means as they believe all life is sacred. These creatures then maintain the natural order on their respective worlds after the Mothlords depart. There are groups of opposition in the multiverse who seek to undermine this verdant order through means of technological advancement and other forms of magic. Most humans consider the Mothfolk as too invasive -- galactic pests in their way -- while pride gets the best of one society that aims to create a more machine-driven way of life, through technology and space exploration. They are a society of artificers (humans and androids) led by a man named Servym. Some celestial beings vehemently despise both humans and Mothfolk, trying to imprison and torture them on remote planes with dark forms of sorcery. Over time, other forces at play became known and thrown into this galactic pot of warfare and politics. Numerous wars came from these conflicts, so much that a devious faction formed from the original Mothlords -- known as Moss Deceptiva, led by Tyria and her deadly witch moth, Noctai. While vigilant as their predecessors and original kin, they developed hatred and contempt and diverged from their original methods of life creation, devolving into a hivemind of violence and terror. At first, they sought to destroy previously visited worlds themselves, unmaking all fruitions of the original lords, but instead used their corruption to create armies of their original creations. Fusing even more bastardizations of organisms, these new abominations seized their respective planets, either spawning an overabundance of flora or mutating environments into plagues of spores and deadly bacteria. This creation of chaos invigorated the Moss Deceptiva, causing their genetic makeup and aura to mutate into higher levels of power. An alliance was formed between Servym and the Mothlords when they realized the chaos could not be contained by either side. A new creature was born from this union, the Sallow Moth -- even more humanoid than its ancestors, but with greater power and potential than the sum of its parts. It was created from both arcane magic and human technology, designed to infiltrate the Moss Deceptiva quietly and eventually restore balance to the spore-infected worlds. As this story unfolds, each release will correspond to this foundation of a theme.
