Through the Chaos is a journey into the twilight zone. Lost in the mist, we encounter tormented beings, reflections of ourselves living in parallel dimensions. An exploration infused with dark sounds, inviting us to embrace the unfamiliar and to dive deep into our inner selves. Three years after "Mother Solitude and Other Dark Tales", Echoberyl return with a full-length album that is a tribute to "parallel worlds", to mystery literature (and a certain type of B-series movies and TV shows). A twilight zone populated with bewitching and evil, mysterious and troubled female characters. Three years after "Mother Solitude and Other Dark Tales" we release, together with Icy Cold Records, our new album "Through the Chaos". It is a very personal work, the result of a commitment of at least two years spent recording rough tracks, writing songs (and then throwing them in the garbage), experimenting with synths, making a DIY electronic drum kit, purchasing old synths in the second-hand markets of Paris. Those who know us, those who know our music, know that we prefer to talk about the present in a "transposed" form. We prefer to tell fictional stories to say something else. Cecilia describes bizarre or tormented characters, dark tales to tell her relationship with reality, with the "others", with the times in which we live. The chaos. Never before have we believed that our lives, whether wealthy or modest (in our case rather modest), are gripped by an invisible yet present chaos. This album is our attempt to share all of this with you. It's an album that we love deeply and we hope you will appreciate it and make it "yours".
