5th wave emo / Art Pop

recorded in house from may of 2024 to march of 2025, WITH NO SYNTHS OR VSTS Gonna be the last album in a trilogy of albums starting with "your life is meaningless" and "wetdream". I was extremely inspired by "Marvin Gaye - what's going on", the flow in that album is prefect. The production of that really inspired how this album is produced. It was made in the motown house. I tried my best copy how they recorded in that house. James Jamerson's basslines made me feel like im floating. This album is the first where I wanted to make people party, I feel like wetdream was very down beat so wanted to bring it back and make the people happy again. Theres a huge focus on the beat for me, I used tambourine in almost every track to get it to feel more groovy. Alot of time and care went in to this fucking album and i pray that you guys can hear it. This is the first album Ive worked on completely alone. I rented lots of instruments from long and McQuade: trumpet, saxophone, trombone, I bought: a piano, a mandolin, a twelve string acoustic guitar, a cello. My boyfriend bought me a balalaika. Im very lucky to say I was able to afford all these purchases because of your guys support.
