Weaver Beats

Jerred Jones, the Honolulu-based producer behind the name Weaver Beats, has spent a decade pulling at the threads between hip-hop, ambient electronics, and bass-heavy experimentation — a range wide enough that no single genre quite fits, yet the sound is unmistakably his own. His debut *Collective* arrived in 2014, drawing comparisons to Flying Lotus and J Dilla, and the releases since have tracked a restless evolution: from future beats and footwork toward trap, wave, and, eventually, rapping under the *Weaver Raps* series. Beyond his own catalog, he runs Bloom Audio, a mixing and mastering operation that has put his ears in service of a long list of underground collaborators.
