Weatherglow Collab Project

Weatherglow is a one-off collaborative EP between Asian Glow, the solo project of Gyungwon Shin in Seoul, and Weatherday, the project of Swedish musician Sputnik. Six songs, roughly twenty-four minutes, released on Porcelain Music in March 2022. The record threads Asian Glow's lo-fi indietronica through Weatherday's blown-out noise pop; Asian Glow mixed it, Weatherday mastered and drew the cover. Rather than meet in the middle, the two voices give each other permission to get stranger, which is how an EP this short ends up feeling like it contains several different records at once. A limited vinyl pressing through Longinus Recordings followed, alongside a small cassette run.
