Okay, yeah, not trying to top the original here; Hercules/Iolaus, check it out, if you like songs. But it's like this, about a thousand years ago it was the summer of 2020 and everything was on fire, remember? That felt bad, and good, and more than just a liitle right, and there were no shows to vent and scream and throw shit at. We were kinda stuck inside, just watching, and watching... So Plan B. Hey guys! how about we make a benefit single, a 12" and use the most crazy heroic song we ever came up with - Hercules! And we each pick a cause to send the proceeds to. And so, we returned to the studio (thanks, Matt). And then, EIGHT fuken months later, grrr... the vinyl shows up. And here we go. A limited edition benefit 12"single. Including lots of Hercules the first Exbats song ( way back when we were The Numbats), the never before released, on vinyl anyway, original Xena! Ultimately, the proceeds will go to benefit three organizations: Bobby's pick: Seeding Soveriegnty (Indigenous Impact Care Initiative) Inez' pick: G.L.I.T.S. (Gay and Lesbians Living in a Transgender Society) Kenny's pick: Muttville (senior dog rescue) Once we sell out, it should end up being about $500 to each. Not bad. Good plan. Yay songs!
