Slomosa

Slomosa is a four-piece rock band from Bergen, Norway, formed in 2016 by Benjamin Berdous (vocals/guitar), Marie Moe (vocals/bass), Tor Erik Bye (guitar), and Jard Hole (drums). Where most bands borrow the desert rock template wholesale, Slomosa bent it northward — calling their sound "tundra rock," after the grandiosity of Norwegian nature rather than any sun-baked landscape. Their 2020 self-titled debut quietly accumulated over ten million streams; the 2024 follow-up *Tundra Rock* won the Rock category at Spellemannprisen, Norway's most prestigious annual music award. Since then the band has toured alongside Mastodon, Helmet, and Alkaline Trio, and in 2026 released *Live in Bergen*, a limited double-LP capturing a sold-out hometown show at USF Verftet.
