Serge Geyzel

Born in Saratov in 1987, Serge Geyzel spent twelve years at the piano before the Jerusalem Academy of Music pointed him toward jazz, and Berlin eventually pointed him toward everything else. Now based in that city, he works the space where early-2000s electronica, electro, and dark ambient converge — building tracks from analog synthesizers, drum machines, field recordings, and acoustic samples he captures himself. The machinery is heavy; the result is not: his 2026 album "The Way To Go" earns its weight measure by measure, classical rigor and jazz harmonic instinct quietly running the whole operation from underneath.
