nthng

nthng is an Amsterdam-based electronic producer and DJ who has spent the better part of a decade building a catalogue of hazy, tectonic techno without ever quite stepping into full view; interviews are rare, and photographs rarer still. His tracks favor murky, undulating drum programming laid beneath drifting, melodic synth lines, a combination that owes as much to early-nineties trance as to the industrial techno rooms of Berlin. He runs his own imprint, Transatlantic, and has released records through Delsin, Lobster Theremin, and Mörk. Live, he has played historic spaces like Amsterdam's Oude Kerk and Berlin's Berghain, carrying the same atmospheric, story-driven approach from the studio onto festival stages across Europe.
