Natural Child
Natural Child is a Nashville-based four-piece built around guitarist Seth Murray, bassist Wes Traylor, drummer Zack Martin, and keyboardist Benny Devine. Formed in 2008 out of a pot-brownie phone call and an unshakeable desire to make rock and roll dreams come true, the band spent their early years loading a van and playing upwards of 200 nights a year - the kind of road education that shows in every song. Their sound pulls from the Southern rock, cosmic country, and '70s boogie traditions, nodding hard at the Rolling Stones, Waylon Jennings, and JJ Cale while keeping a loose, stoner-psych looseness all their own. Eight studio albums in, most recently 2023's "Be M'Guest," they have never stopped sounding like a band that genuinely cannot help itself.
