GREEN LUNG

Green Lung are a five-piece from London whose music sounds precisely like the countryside they write about: ancient, heavy, and not entirely safe. Formed in 2017, the band built their reputation on a strain of occult-themed doom and stoner rock steeped in British folklore, folk horror, and the Sabbathian hard rock of the early seventies, releasing three critically acclaimed albums before their third, This Heathen Land, went to number one on the UK's Official Rock and Metal Album Chart. Signed to Nuclear Blast and touring with the likes of Clutch and Opeth, they headline Desertfest London in 2026 and release their fourth record, Necropolitan, that September — recorded live at Rockfield Studios with producer Tom Dalgety, and described by the band as a portrait of Gothic London stripped down to its heaviest, rawest form.
