Good Riddance

Good Riddance have been fusing high-speed skate punk with the blunt force of '80s hardcore since forming in Santa Cruz, California in the late 1980s. Fronted by vocalist Russ Rankin, with guitarist Luke Pabich, bassist Chuck Platt, and drummer Sean Sellers, the band built its reputation on ten studio albums' worth of politically charged, melodically sharp songs released through Fat Wreck Chords. They called it quits in 2007, reunited in 2012, and have kept up the pace since, with their tenth record *Before the World Caves In* arriving in March 2026. The band donates album proceeds to causes ranging from food banks to voting rights organizations, treating punk as a vehicle for activism without ever softening the music to make the message go down easier.
