GLOK X BYTES: THE REMIXES

GLOK

September 4, 2026

Electronic / Ambient / Shoegaze / Techno

Since starting Bytes in 2019 we’ve fielded a lot of emails/DMs along the lines of, “Is this ever going to be released on vinyl?” The bulk of these requests have concerned remixes of artists on Bytes by Andy Bell (RIDE/Oasis) under his electronic alter-ego GLOK. And on realising that he has done four for us now (Franz Kirmann, Steve Queralt & Michael Smith, Herrmann Kristoffersen and Seagoth - all freakin' AMAZING!), it seemed silly not to compile them all together on a four-track 12” EP. The super limited edition 12” comes in the OG Bytes house bag with a vinyl sticker containing all the release info signed by Andy. One of these stickers has been marked #1 by Andy. It will be randomly assigned to one of the 12s – if you are the lucky recipient, please post a photo of you with the sticker on Instagram (or email [email protected]) for a special Bytes surprise. Don’t sleep. No repress. Shipping soon. Thank you! x NB - all EU orders include an extra €3 charge to cover new packagaing regulations (PPWR) that have just been introduced (from August 12). While it is unclear how they will be enforced, we can't take the risk so are applying this additonal charge via our shipping partner as a blanket cost across all EU territories. Apologies as it makes the cost of shipping even more expensive. I know some labels are just doing UK only for the time being, but we want to give our EU customers the chance to buy it if they want, while being transparent about the costs. We are trying to work on a long-term solution for shipping outside of the UK as it is becoming so bloody expensive! As always, thanks for your continued support.
