Eartheater
Alexandra Drewchin grew up on a horse farm in rural Pennsylvania - Russian father, British mother, four kids, home-schooled. Under the name Eartheater, she has spent the years since in Queens, building records that press a three-octave vocal range against digital production drawn from freak folk, electronica, and noise, with classical composition providing the internal structure. Her 2020 album Phoenix: Flames Are Dew Upon My Skin, composed, produced, and arranged entirely by Drewchin, is the record critics most often cite; she followed it with Powders in 2023 and scored runway collections for Chanel, MUGLER, and Acne Studios in between. Her seventh album, Heavenly Body: If I'm the Bottle You're the Message, arrives in July 2026.
