Błoto + Ion D
Błoto began as an accident. In the summer of 2018, four members of the Wrocław-based EABS sextet found themselves with a free Friday evening and a willing studio nearby — and recorded what would become their debut album Erozje. The quartet's sound is anchored in heavy hip-hop grooves, synthesizer weight, and a political restlessness that sharpens with each release. Their 2026 album Atmosfera, made with Romanian artist Ion D on Astigmatic Records, marks a decisive shift: drum machines displace live kits, electric guitar enters for the first time, and the genre tags that once fit them — jazz, beat music — no longer quite apply.
