From an outsider's point of view, Live In Europe can be viewed as Anneke closing another chapter of her career in that she dropped the Agua de Annique tag for the release of Everything Is Changing, released two years later.
Live In Europe showcases the short but fruitful Agua de Annique years, but whether by accident or design it closes with 'Shrink' from The Gathering's Nighttime Birds album.
