Angine de Poitrine

Angine de Poitrine is an anonymous two-person experimental rock duo from Saguenay, Quebec, consisting of Khn and Klek de Poitrine, who perform in papier-mâché masks and communicate only in an invented fictional language. Known for their custom microtonal guitars, complex time signatures, and self-described "Dada-pythago-cubist" sound, they exploded into global prominence after their KEXP live session accumulated 7.5 million YouTube views in under two months, earning them ~880,000 Spotify monthly listeners and sold-out international tours. With their second album dropping April 3, 2026, and first US dates booked, they represent one of 2026's most remarkable independent music breakthroughs.
