A.A. Williams
A.A. Williams is a London-based singer-songwriter and classically trained multi-instrumentalist whose music folds post-rock weight into chamber-quiet arrangements — equal parts cello, electric guitar, and a voice that carries both. She made her stage debut in April 2019 and sold out her first headline show at the Southbank Centre within the year, then signed to Bella Union for her 2020 debut album Forever Blue. The classical minimalism of Arvo Pärt and Górecki sits alongside the folk-inflected orchestral tradition of Vaughan Williams as touchstones; that range surfaces most clearly in arco, where she dismantled her own full-band EP songs and rebuilt them for strings and voice alone. A third full-length, Solstice, is due June 2026.
