2XT

2XT is the Los Angeles duo of Kristine Flaherty, the two-time Grammy-nominated rapper and singer better known as K.Flay, and producer Jason Suwito of indie pop band Sir Sly. Announced in February 2026 as a deliberate break from K.Flay's alt-rock catalog, the project trades guitars for dance floors: electro house and big room with streaks of dubstep, bass, and techno. Debut single "Angel" arrived that month, followed by "All In" in April, with the ten-track full-length SPECIAL FEELINGS scheduled for May 2026 and mastered by Joe LaPorta. Suwito's production credits run through Imagine Dragons, MisterWives, Fitz and the Tantrums, and COIN; paired with Flaherty's lyricism, 2XT sounds like club music made by two people who have spent a decade writing for quieter rooms.
